Friday...oh yeah...

It is Friday and Daddy's home. Yeah! I give props to single parents.  Having my hubby gone all week for the last two months gives me a new apprecation for him.  He does a lot around here and for that I am grateful.
This morning Todd brought in the mail from yesterday that we hadn't picked up yet. It included the CD from our trash the dress session....
Here are a few of my faves that I hadn't seen yet...

I seriously love them all but we would be here all night....

Another fun package in the mail was from my parents to the kids for Halloween.  Stickers, stamps, and fruit snacks. Oh yeah the kids were in heaven. My mom is oh so thoughtful and I love her for that!

We quickly ate breakfast and headed downtown for a playdate with friends.  If you haven't been to Art Beast you need to go.  A little pricey but well worth it.  A place where the kids can make a mess and someone else cleans up. Oh and you and your mommy friend can actually have a conversation without chasing after kids.  How fantastic is that?

I love this age.  They hadn't seen each other in a long time but became best buds quickly.

I love kids and their imagination.

We got a great performance from a ladybug and bumblebee.

We ended our perfect little playdate with Mexican food.

Daddy brought home some big bubbles for the kids to play with.  What fun!

Little brother just wanted to hit the football with his bat.

We made a quick trip over to the brand new park by our house.  It is an amazing park that we have been driving by everyday to look at the progress. After three months it is done and the kids just love it.

My kids ride over to the park in style.  Oh yeah. The pink barbie jeep.

Here we come mama!

She is just learning how to pump her legs although she made a little friend that wanted to push her.

The boys love it when Daddy comes to the park.  I do too so I don't have to constantly be scanning the park counting 1, 2, 3.

Last night I read on Kelle Hamptons Blog about her and her hubby taking her girls out to BOO a few neighbors. We had to do this.  We made some Boos,  gathered up some hershey kisses, waited for it to get dark, and then hit the neighborhood. We dropped the stuff off on the doorstep, rang the doorbell, and ran.  Doing this with four year olds and a two year old is priceless.  Good ole fashion fun.  The giggles and smiles that come from it are the best.

The day ends with a little story read by Miss Makenna.  Good night everyone.  Tomorrow brings a pumpkin patch.  One of my favorites.
