Endless ideas

Between Facebook and Pinterest ideas for what to do in December with your kids are non stop. I LOVE IT.  The twins are the perfect age for doing special things with.  Weston just goes along with the twins excitement.  Their comments and expressions are priceless.
The Portable North Pole is a fun message for kids sent from Santa.  He uses their name in his video message which always gets a smile.  These messages will be waiting for the kids tomorrow.

Today is Day 8 of Advent and we made Green Peppermint Glitter Playdough. My kitchen smells wonderful and I have glitter sprinkles in my grout. Hubby will love seeing that when he gets home tomorrow!

Peppermint extract
Cream of Tartar
Food Coloring of your choice

In a saucepan measure out 2 cups of flour, 1 cup of salt, 1 TBS of oil, a few drops of food coloring, and 1 tsp. of cream of tartar. Stir over medium heat.  As the dough starts to thinken add peppermint extract.  Stop adding when you think you have enough scent. I added a lot. After you can not stir any longer (because it is so thick) dump out on to cutting board and flatten. Sprinkle glitter and knead it in. Want it more glittery? Add more glitter.  Roll into ball and plop into a mason jar.  Add a tag and a ribbon and there you go.  Fun gifts for the kids friends.

Mr. Elf is still here.  Kids are loving him.  Here is how they will find him tomorrow. Can. not. wait. to see their expressions.

Hope you are able to find some inspiration from Pinterest or while you are logged on to Facebook.  Endless ideas everywhere!
