Today we did something we haven't ever done before. We went on a field trip to the Kneppel Dairy Farm in Elk Grove. The twins preschool was able to go out for the morning and for lunch. What a treat! The kids were able to see cows being milked, drink chocolate milk, feed a baby calf, pet kittens, admire chicks and pigs, go on a tractor ride, and enjoy a nice lunch provided by the dairy on the lawn in front of their home. The kids had a blast! Thankful I am able to go on fun trips like this with the kids.
Makena has been saying lately when she grows up she is going to be a helper to small animals. She loves them.

Ice cream was a total treat that the twins couldn't wait for since they heard they were getting ice cream at the dairy. Perfect ending to a great time.
