Kids taken care of by grandparents all weekend. Us in Napa for some adult time with my brother and sister in law. Oh yes.
Old World Inn housed us for the weekend and it was oh so amazing. The owner was more than accommodating and made sure our weekend was unforgettable. Our rooms, desserts, breakfasts, and wine was incredible. Friday night we enjoyed sushi and drinks.
We had reservations at several wineries over the weekend (thanks to my brother and his amazing planning skills) and started our weekend at Silver Oak.
What would a weekend in Napa be without some jumping pictures? Our second winery was at Round Pond where we enjoyed a tour and an Olive Oil tasting followed with an amazing lunch.
Our amazing lunch and olive oil / tasting table.
I realized I am not a huge fan of taste testing olive oil. Would much rather just dip it in some bread.
My sweet sister in law.
This little dip we found in Yountville will be recreated. A-MA-ZING.
We enjoyed another winery and then headed back to our B and B where Rutherford wine was being poured.
Our room. I LOVED it. Yes, that's Todd in the corner smelling one of the pillows. The detergent they used smelled amazing.
I had to include a picture of the dress I wore Saturday night because I love it. La Posh Style. Check it out.
This little fire pit was enjoyed by us along with some amazing chocolate covered cherries.
We dined at an Italian restaurant Saturday night and enjoyed an uninterrupted kid free dinner.
Our Sunday morning we kicked off with a bang starting with breakfast in the wine cellar. We then headed off to Hendry winery and had a nine wine tasting.
Great weekend away. Going to Napa should be become a habit.
