Christmas is over. Bittersweet. It was a great 24 days leading up to a wonderful day spent together. The weather was rainy and cozy a lot of the time which forced us indoors for awesome family time.
Sunday before Christmas we enjoyed cozy coffee shop time. I love how cold weather forces you inside. Love being cozy together.
My three sweet ones who slept by the tree Sunday night.
Christmas Eve we went to church and enjoyed singing songs and listening to Pastor Jason talk about the real meaning of Christmas. I do love the fun stuff to do with the kids but want to really have the kids know why we celebrate Christmas and to be thankful for that.
When we got home from church the kids had some work to do before heading to bed. They sprinkled reindeer food, set out cookies and milk for Santa, and wrote little notes to him.
Weston thought it would nice to include a piece of pizza and a few grapes along with the cookies.
The twins enjoyed tracking Santa on the Ipad. We finally convinced them Santa would be here soon and they had to get to bed when he traveled into the United States.
Happy Birthday Jesus!!!!
Don't let their sleepy eyes fool you. Even though this was taken at six in the morning they were rearing to go.
