It was our weekend for our Secret Santa Adventure. We skipped the Polar Express this year and headed up to Penryn for some new fun with family and friends. The forecast called for 20% rain so we crossed our fingers and headed up.
Picture time with Santa, carriage ride, train ride, pony rides, cookie decorating, and time around the fire made for a great night. After an hour and a half of being there it started raining so we headed out.
Picture time with Santa was one of the best Santa Visits my kids have ever had. Santa asked what they wanted and wrote it down in his book and held little conversations with them. It wasn't rushed and it was so very quaint.
Sunday we headed to downtown Sacramento for some desired hot chocolate.
Ginger Elizabeths where we went for hot chocolate was where the CIM race was taking place by. We sipped hot chocolate and watched as tired runners ran past us at mile 25. Inspiring.
Best hot chocolate ever.
Some amazing chocolate desserts were in this display.
We enjoyed the rain disappearing by strolling L street and then heading over to Capitol for some lunch.
Cousins who are best of friends.
Delicious lunch and an awesome weekend.
