I was able to photograph this family of six a week ago near my home in some pretty gorgeous light. I have known them for several years now and our kids are pretty good buds. I met them at a multiples park playdate back in the day when all three of my children ran in different directions out in public. Makenna was pretty jealous I wasn't taking her when I left to photograph this family knowing I would see her sweet friend Megan. This family is a strong one. In the time that I have known them their oldest son, Jacob ,and one of their triplet boys, Dylan has been diagnosed with a disease called Late Infantile Neuronal Ceroid Lipofuschinosis which is a form of Batten's Disease. This disease steals time and therefore Jon and Lisa wanted a photoshoot of their family. When I left this photoshoot I had chills thinking about the images on my camera and how these would be treasured forever in years to come. I feel blessed to be able to do what I do and capture moments that are oh so precious. When I think of this family I always think of big infectious smiles. They all truly exude joy.

Sweet Jacob just turned eight yesterday. Such a happy boy. Feel free to follow along here on his journey.
Thank you Allingham family for letting me photograph your forever smiling family!
