Family of Three

It was so fun to photograph a college friend and her adorable family.  I couldn't get enough of eight month old Landon and his light up the world smile.  I was quite tickled to learn that Landon had only been photographed by an iPhone.  He did quite well for his first time in front of a fancy camera.

 Such a great time!

Quarter Midget Racing

Tonight we joined the QMA (quarter midget association) and got a key to the race track. Landon practiced for the first time in his new race car and he couldn't have been happier.  He did so well.  The racing season is just now ending so Landon will have lots of time to practice.

He was given a trophy for doing well in his new car for the first time.

Going to be fun to watch him grow in skill.

Fall is Here

My girl scored her first goal on Saturday. So proud.  I love her smile and giggle while she plays.

Fall is here.  We celebrated by going to Davis Ranch and picking out some pumpkins.  I just love this season.  Favorite hands down. The weather actually felt good and cool enough to wear fall clothes. You can bet I had my boots on.

Baby Kassie - Six days new

Baby Kassie. Six days new.  I photographed her mama when she was pregnant last month. You can see her session here.

Kassie was awake for the beginning of the session and then fell asleep after her third feeding.  She was the perfect sleeping baby.

This baby is quite loved.  So glad to meet and hold her.
Congrats Nick and Sheri!

Last Week

Last week was fun.  We enjoyed time at my Grandma's over Labor Day.

I have said it before but my grandmother's home has the most memories for me.  I love watching my kids swim in a pool that I swam in growing up.

Not everyone is in these pictures but you have to capture who is at least there right?

The school week flew by and brought us to Friday which led us to Napa for the weekend sans children. Dropped the kids off at my parents to hang with cousins and grandparents and we headed to The Old World Inn.

We stayed in this room last time and I was thrilled we had it again.  Cozy and elegant.

Always fun to travel with my brother and sister in law.

 Joseph Phelps. Amazing wine.

A trip wouldn't ever be complete without Starbucks.

Great week.
